Gardenia Kiddie Tour and Workshop 2018: The Ultimate Bread Journey

During summer we think of something to do that is fun and still educational which we want both moms and dads would really enjoy together with our kids. It's a joy for Nathan and I that we were part of the Gardenia Kiddie Tour and workshop. It's hard to please my Nathan and I am so happy that he enjoyed every part of our activities together with other moms and kids.

Mommies and kids were given name tags to write our names and decorate in our fun and artistic way.

Kids had a dance number with Gardeniamascot and staff.

The kids learned about the nutrition they get from good food. through story telling, and to make it more interesting they participated as characters of the story.

A tour around Gardenia gained them new friends. Nathan also overcame his shyness when they were taught how to speak to say something about each part of the building and aslo experienced how to become a Gardenia crew to describe what they are selling which made me so proud of my son.

Inside the Gardenia store, Nathan learned also how to become a cashier and that includes how to count money and give change.

Color-coded G-locks that all this time I never thought that each color symbolizes the day of expiration.

Nathan and I enjoyed painting any way or color we want!

The kids were also taught when and how to wash their hands. Here's a tip– sing "Happy birthday" song while washing the front and back of your hands, that's how long you should wash the proper way.

Toasties Polvoron
It's our first time to do this together and I see how Nathan got so interested and proud of what he's doing.

Ham & Cheese Pinwheels
This was a fun challenge for Nathan. He enjoyed using his pastel-colored rolling pin to flatten his Gardenia bread. While putting ham & cheese in the middle, he can't help eating some!

Cake Pops
The kids just had so much fun crumbling their twiggies! Crumble it, mix some condensed milk, roll into a ball, dip in melted chocolate, and add colored sprinkles and marshmallows. Yummy!

Our last activity is just like the first activity we did when we made our name tags. This time, we draw and design what we learned from the whole day fun-filled Gardenia activities.

For the finale, Nathan and all the kids were given certificates and take home Gardenia goodies!

The whole fun-filled day tour and workshop was such an amazing day for all moms and kids. We are all grateful to Gardenia and Mommy bloggers Philippines for this unforgetable summer fun!
