Bunk Puppets Presents: Sticks, Stones, Broken Bones

It's summer and there are so many things that we can do with our children or go somewhere to take advantage of summer vacation and have time for our kids. So many ways, so many places, and so many time, but sometimes we can't decide what to do or where go. I know a perfect place!

PETA Theater Center will transform into a children's  playhouse for their annual family event. It's going to be fun, extraordinary and memorable experience. It's going to be extra special this year because PETA partners with Bunk Puppets will bring to Manila the internationally awarded shadow puppetry performance Sticks, Stones, Broken Bones from Melbourne, Australia! My kids are all very excited to watch because it's their first time to see a puppet show!

Sneaky chickens, flying ninjas, brain surgery and an unforgettable horse race! Sticks, Stones, Broken Bones will take the audience into a dreamlike world of puppets and adventure.

This is something that will surely bring out the creativity in our kids as we will see them using household objects and bits of rubbish, Bunk Puppets transforms simple objects into hilarious silhouette  stories. In each scene, the puppetry is performed in front of the shadow screen, so that the audience gets a close look at the visual ticketry. Old toys, brooms and discarded clothing are deftly stitched together to create a shadow puppet stories and characters. Cool! I can still remember during my childhood, gadgets are not a thing then, so we use our imaginations most of the time to play with our classmates and neighbors.

Sticks, Stones, Broken Bones is a hilarious fusion of shadow puppetry and physical theater that brought joy in dozens of countries. It's a visual feast for the imagination! Come, experience one man's playful vision of wonder and nonsense. Sticks, Stones, Broken Bones is a 50-minute non-verbal puppet comedy show for all ages. some bits are a wee bit scary for under 6 years old, so it is recommended that they are accompanied by their parents.
