Sabrina's Kitchen on its 7th Season

Makati City, Philippines ‒ Sabrina Artadi, a true beauty inside and out has shown once again her talent in the kitchen. This is my second time to meet Sabrina and I am so amazed with her lifestyle and how she converse with people, such a very nice lady. Sabrina is a foodie who is very much into healthy cooking and fitness. Watching Sabrina talk, with her energetic and friendly personality, you will surely get carried away with her positive mood.

During the cooking demo of Sabrina's Kitchen Season 7, Sabrina showed how easy it is to prepare quick, easy and healthy food, and some healthy tips as well – like using Extra Virgin coconut oil, sesame oil and coconut oil for cooking which brings down the glycemic effect when added on rice. For beauty, she also mentioned that applying olive oil on our face after taking a shower while skin is still wet is a good moisturizer. Boiled rosemary with calamansi is good for memory and menopausal stage as well. Maintaining a healthy body is important and that's one of the things that I admire about Sabrina, she looks so young and healthy. So while cooking, Sabrina showed some easy exercises while in the kitchen.

Morocan Inspired Salad with Cumin • Herbed Kangkong Pasta • Sandwich with Curry • Champorado with Cinamon

Sabrina shared her healthy recipes that tastes really good! I'll share one so that you could also try.

Banana Shake

Bananas (may use Cavendish banana)
2 dashes McCormick Gourmet Organic Cayenne Pepper
15 dashes McCormick Cinamon, ground
water
2 tablespoons milk
ice cubes
7 leaves Kangkong or Ashitaba (or any leaves you prefer)
1 teaspoon La Espanola Extra Virgin Olive Oil
dark chocolate

The banana shake tastes really good! At first, I was hesitant to take a sip since it's my first time to drink a shake with Cayenne Pepper & organic kangkong, but after tasting it, I finished a cup and wanted more. The sweetness of the banana, fresh kangkong & the spicy flavor of Cayenne pepper plus the ground cinammon balanced the taste.

The rest of the meals she served are all great tasting. For some who are worried about preparing healthy food and hesitant that they may not like the taste, try the healthy and quick recipes of Sabrina, because they really are best tasting.

The launch of Sabrina's Kitchen was held at Hineleban Cafe along Antonio Arnaiz Ave. (formerly Pasay Road), Makati City. They serve very good food, chocolate drink and Arabica coffee made of organic products. Hineleban Cafe supports the Hineleban Foundation (Hineleban.org), and for every bag of Hineleban Coffee purchased, the foundation plants one forest tree. Everytime you visit the cafe and order Hineleban coffee, you help support the foundation and local farmers of Bukidnon. To complete the day, we experienced the beauty of Filipino ethnic music by Waway Linsahay Saway, Sabrina's good friend, who is also a good chef & an artist ‒ he makes all the musical instruments he's using, creating relaxing music which brings us to where the Filipino music started.

The necklace that Sabrina is wearing, is a glass bead necklace by the Talaandig tribe women. She bought this in support of the Marawi refugees. For those who want to purchase, the necklace is available at the Hinelaban Cafe.

Sabrina's Kitchen Season 7 will air on August 13, 2017, GMA News TV, from 10:00am to 10:30am. It will be featuring easy to cook meals especially for people who are lazy cooks , healthy cooks and always on the go.
