Trip to Bambú Cafe, Bar and Events Place

Filipinos love to eat and travel with family and friends. We always look for something new to eat, see, and experience. Bambú Cafe, Bar, and Events in Tanauan, Batangas is one of the perfect places where you can eat, celebrate, and more!

At first, I thought it was just a simple restaurant and I admit I'm wrong. Upon entering the gate, you'll see the friendly-looking Bambú Restaurant that is surrounded with lots of bamboo trees. Now you know where they got the name of the restaurant. For parking space, they have a huge space for that. Even a car show or concert can be held in this very wide area.

Abe Arayata, 22 year old owner of Bambú, started the business with small nipa huts and later on decided to turn their rest house into a restaurant. Abe and his dad are both water and car enthusiasts, so they incorporated their passion and hobbies into this business — rustic interior, sports car & Harley Davidson, resort, and events place.

Bambú opened last June 2018 as a restaurant, bed space and a resort. The restaurant is a Filipino-Asian cuisine, some recipes were from the mother and grandmother of the owner, Abe Arayata. The menu is served simple that adjusts to everyone's palate. Since his mom and grandmother are so passionate about food, he later on learned their recipes and became his passion too. The herbs they use in the cafe is from their background that are grown organic.

They also invite local artists from Batangas to perform every Saturday to promote their talents — voice, and different instruments that they play.

The back side of the place holds the Events Place, fully-airconditioned, that can accommodate up to 350 people (sitting), or if you want to produce a concert, it can hold up to 600 people (standing). For now, outside caterer is allowed for occasions that will be held in the Events Place.

For travellers who are looking for a cozy destination to stay in Batangas, take a look at these very simple yet classy small houses where you can choose connecting rooms or detached. A swimming pool is available for those who would love to get tanned or just dip in the pool, relax & have fun with family and friends.

Since the are is so big, they have golf carts for senior citizens or for anyone who just prefer to ride and explore that serenity of the place. There is also a chapel for those who wants to visit and pray.
