It's the time of the year when we think and plan of cooking and baking for our friends, co-workers and families. We love cooking special Filipino dishes or international cuisines. It is now a trend in our kitchen to explore new recipes and create our own fusion. Whether it's an appetizer, entree, dips, main dish or dessert, it's always a big challenge to try something new for a change. Sauces for me is quite not easy to prepare. I want something different to achieve a supreme gastronomic recipe this Christmas. Cooking & baking is what we love doing at home.
When I went to the Alaska Merry Crémas Food Fest 2016 last November 6 at the Trinoma Activity Center, I was amazed with all the creations made using Alaska Crémas. More than 30 food concessionaires participated and showcased their various specialties. It is really exciting to taste all their food samples, because it boosts my mind and creativity as well. These are all taste bud tickling!
All the booths showed different kinds of food which brought out the originality in them using Alaska Crémas. The palatable dishes, pastries and cakes that I tried are all excellent! If I were to judge, they are all winners and absolutely satisfying!
The event also provided a booth for parents and kids where it demonstrated some easy recipes that they could do as a family. This is a very encouraging activity for family bonding & for us also to discover the talent within us.
Filipinos love taking pictures and I am so greatful that they have this portion where they teach techniques on how to take photos of food the right way. They also suggested some good and easy applications where we can edit.
