Dentist Wins Mrs. Philippines-Globe 2016 Crown

Joining a pageant is never an easy thing to do. It takes courage, discipline and confidence. This is the first time that I watched a live pageant and I admire the contestants for their passion and determination. When I was in my college level, I remember being asked to join a popular beauty pageant. I really want to, however I didn't have the courage to join. Now, seeing these beautiful women made me realize that whatever it is that you aspire, then go for it!

Fritzie Lexdy Noche, a 36-year old mother and dentist from Batangas, was crowned as the new Mrs. Philippines-Globe 2016. A second-time contestent of the pageant, she bested 17 other contestants who were also vying for the much coveted crown.

Personifying beauty and substance, Fritzie Lexdy Noche is also a civic leader and former president of the Philippine Dental Association -- Batangas Chapter in 2007-2008. She obtained her degree in Dental Medicine at the Centro Escolar University and took up Masters in Orthodontics Temporomandibular Dysfunction and Orthopedics at the Roman Dental School.

During the coronation night held at the Samsung Hall, SM Aura, Taguig City, Noche and the other candidates proved to themselves, as well as to all the guests, that being married or having children should not hinder them from reaching their full potential. 

"My second try at Mrs. Philippines Globe has allowed me to discover more about myself and improve my persona as a wife, mother, and friend to all," said Fritzie. "I will bring everything I learned in this journey as I represent my country for Mrs. Globe 2016."

Leading the panel of judges were Mrs. Globe Philippines National Pageant Director Carla Cabrera-Quimpo and Mrs. Globe 2013 Sheryl Lynn Callister who flew in from the Netherlands to grace the event. Joining them were Mrs. Philippines Globe 2012 Joyce Agsaway, Mrs. Philippines Globe 2012 Woman  of Substance Pinky Siva, Bb. Pilipinas Universe 1985 Joyce Ann Burton Titular, Mrs. Philippines Globe 2014 Janice Trillo, All Star Team president of Rotary Club of Makati Gems Vangie Jaehn, Solane Brand Executive Rae Steffi Behag, and Metro Pacific Investment Corp. Vice President for Public Relations of Melody Del Rosario.

Noche, who won PhP150,000 worth of prizes, will also represent the Philippines in the prestigious Mrs. Globe World Finals in Hainan, China in December 2016.

A new title was also given this year - the Mrs. Philippines Globe Classic 2018 for women within the age 46 to 55. The special award was given to Annalyn Marie Gayatin.


Other official candidates who also gave their best during the competition were Marjorie McMurchie, Brooke Cajita, Madonna Naval, Rasha Demonteverde, Genevieve Uy, Coleen Ramos, and Geisha Muring.

One of the biggest international beauty pageants for married women, Mrs. Globe aims to empower misses as  a vital part of the society. The pageant also recognizes that their achievements, charitable acts and stories can serve as an inspiration to others. 


Mrs. Philippines Globe is presented by: Samsung Hall, Lucky Rainbow Makati, SM Tickets, Sony Boy Mindo, Jojo Bragais, Arnell Papa, Eimee Cragun, Working Mom, Solane, and Bio-Oil. The pageant is organized by EVI Marketing Communications.
