A Week of Mother's Day Celebration

Makati City, Philippines - The love shared between a mother and child is celebrated each year, a bond that no storm could ever break. The love that will never disappear despite all the hardships moms go through.

Last May 7, Century City Mall celebrated Mother's Day activities, a special day of mother-child bonding and workshops by The Parent Emporium that made this one of the most unforgettable days of motherhood. There was also a serenade by the teachers of Expression Music with "Popular Mother Songs" and the ever-favorite Frozen song to all the kid audience sung by Ms. Rachelle Verns.

My favorite part of the day is the blindfold game wherein the children were blindfolded and each child had to identify their moms by feeling their face, hair, and hands as they stood beside other fellow moms! The actitivity was done in collaboration with the James McKay Foundation Inc. and the Philippine National School for the Blind, who sent their students and their mothers to join the activities. It shows that no matter how hard the obstacle that we experience, a mother's love is unbreakable.

Good friends who are the organizers of the Century City Mall Mother's Day Event, beauty queen Mafae Belasco and entrepreneur Cherry Genato have gathered their fellow wonderful mom friends to this special event.
