Holistic Integrative Care Center

Manila, Philippines -  For the past 17 years since I gave birth to my second child, I've been experiencing health conditions like upper & lower backache and headache, which in the long run as I worked in back office became worse and now I have hypertension, migraine and vertigo. Even the joints in my knees became worse. I've had miscarriages, depression, dizziness, nasal operation, infection, enlargement of the heart, palpitation, etc. Through these years I've been taking strong medicines and physical therapies. I am not sure if this is just about my lifestyle or maybe some of my ailments are psychological or both. To make it short, I got tired and stopped taking those medicines and physical therapies. At the moment I just take my maintenance for hypertension and that's it.

I want to find answers. Why am I not getting well? Why do I easily get tired and always get sick? When I saw an invitation to attend the launching of an integrated center, I got so curious about it. I want to know more!

On August 17, 2016 I went to the Holistic Integrative Care Center in Makati. I never thought that I will be seeing a lot of people interested, and we all tried their Non-Invasive full body scanner which will only take five minutes. It is non-invasive, painless, no radiation, & no blood drawn.

Non-Invasive Full Body Scan Benefits:
  • Determines the current health of organs
  • Helps to uncover the onset of major diseases, which can assist in early treatment and maintenance
  • Provides complete and full health reports explained in a practical, simple and inexpensive way.
  • Offers health results quickly, respects client's confidentiality with features that are easy and simpleto utilize.
What is Inegrative Medicine?

According to Dr. Imelda "Meddie" Edodollon, M.T., M.D., N.M.D, it is a combined conventional medicine that our medical doctors practice, and the alternative medicine which are being praticed by individuals taking herbal medicine to treat diseases or illnesses.

Dr. Meddie also explained that Conventional Medicine is treating patients handled by doctors depending on their department or specialization (e.g. Cardiology, Internal Medicine, etc.), while Integrative Medicine approach uses holistic, meaning the patient's body, mind and soul is being treated, that normally takes at least an hour for a doctor to diagnose the patient before giving prescriptions.

Dr, Meddie described Integrative Medicine as a whole new field of medication, combining herbal medicine, diet, and lifestyle modification. She will determine if the sickness is because of stress, emotional problems, psychological or environmental.

Dr. Meddie graduated in 2007 as a Medical Doctor and got her license in 2009, practicing General Medicine. In 2012, her father had a multi organ failure ( lung, heart, and kidney) that may head to unexpected death. She didn't give up and searched for other ways to treat her father. She found Integrative Medicine and searched more information about the treatment. Dr. Meddie knows how expensive it is to study Integrative Medicine since it is not available in the Philippines, but it was never a hindrance. As long as it's going to cure her father, she'll do it. So she went to the U.S., took International Medical School of Integrative Medicine, and graduated in 2013 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Her father survived and living a normal life now. Since then, she decided to practice Integrative Medicine that is governed by the international protocols.

She is continuously studying more treatment methods and goes abroad in different institutions that offers other approaches. Dr. Meddie is the only Filipino doctor that is recognized by the Gerson Institute in San Diego, California that acquaints a therapy to cure canceers and other chronic diseases in the Philippines.

Chelation Therapy
P3,500.00

It came from a Greek word "chelos" meaning claw. It signifies the plier-like claws of a crab. It is the most widely accepted in medicine for the removal of toxic metals. It is clinically useful for the treatment of all forms of atherosclerotic diseases, including coronary, cerebral, and peripheral arterial diseases and other degenerative conditions.

Intravenous EDTA Chelation is regularly done in a clinic for a three hour duration. There are other practices which is only done for 1 hour duration with the same benefits. It depends on the result of the patient's evaluation. One session is not enough to detoxify your body.
  • 30 sessions for bypass, atherosclerotic patients
  • Less sessions for patients wants to maintain health

5 Benefits of Chelation Therapy
  1. Helps Improve Heart Health - EDTA binds with calcium within the arteries, heping reduce plaque build-up and deposits that can cut off blood flow. Once bound to calcium, EDTA can help carry the molecules out of arteries so circulation improves & might help controlhigh inflammation and cholesterol levels, which also stand a risk for heart disease.
  2. Acts Like an Antioxidant - EDTA might act similarly to antioxidants by reducing inflammation, fighting free radicaldamage and removing metals that cause the foundation of chronic disease development.
  3. Lowers Pain and Swelling - Many people report less pain from inflamed muscles, joints & bones when using using EDTA.
  4. 4. Can Help Fight Cognitive Disorders - There's evidence that chelation therapy can successfully treat cognitive disorders, including Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease.
  5. Helps Lower Risk for Learning Disabilities - while not technically authorized to be used for treating such conditions, "off-label use" of chelation therapy might be beneficial for cognitive health because of its proven ability to lower circulating or stored toxic metals that interfere wth brain function.
